Scrum Quality Assurance Engineer

The Quality Assurance Engineer at Kowdtech Corporation is a full-fledged member of the Scrum Team. He/She holds primary accountability for software quality assurance and testing processes, methods, technical documentation and techniques for the project, as well as participates in Planning, Estimating, Scheduling, Retrospective, and any other Team Activities. He/she contributes to the team from the time the story is presented until when it’s completed, not just during testing. He/she closely collaborates with members of the Scrum Team and directly reports to the Scrum Master, Product Owner, and/or Senior Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Experience with software development using HTTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
Having knowledge or work experience with Bootstrap and CodeIgniter
Knowledgeable in using documentation tools like MS Excel, Word, Google Sheets, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good time-management skills
Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Exceptional attention to details
Work with the Engineering Team to continuously improve test coverage to improve quality of released products

Job Requirements

Hands on experience in technical documentation
Experience with software development using HTTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
Knowledge of project management software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or relevant field
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
